Conor McGregor quickly deleted footage of his latest workout.

On Tuesday, the former dual-weight UFC champion shared a clip of him pedalling on a stationary bike in a pair of blue Versace budgie smugglers to Robert Palmer's hit song 'Simply Irresistible'.

McGregor captioned the post ‘American Psycho II’ and it’s clear to see why as the sweat-drenched MMA legend menacingly stared into the camera for much of the short video.

At one point, ‘Notorious’ tilts the camera to focus on his crotch before bringing it back to his face which was beaming with what can only be described as a villainous smile.

Many of McGregor’s 46.8 million Instagram followers loved the video.

MMA legend Urijah commented: “F***ing classic," and UFC announcer Jon Anik added: "Let’s f***in’ go, champ. Boxing champion Ebanie Bridges even wrote a supportive message to her new pal.

McGregor quickly took the clip down as not everyone approved.

One fan said: “Bro can't post a workout video without having his b***s make a cameo.”

Another wrote: “The dude is turning into Britney Spears before our eyes.”

McGregor first debuted his Versace briefs during a family holiday in July.

McGregor hasn’t fought since breaking his leg at UFC 264 in July 2021, but he is booked to face Michael Chandler after filming The Ultimate Fighter alongside 'Iron' earlier this year.

Since then, the Irishman has seriously slimmed down and repeatedly claimed he will fight at UFC 296 in Las Vegas on December 16 – he even shared a ‘leak’ to prove it on Sunday.

However, Dana White says McGregor’s recent Twitter post was made by AI and insisted nothing has been finalised in regard to his biggest star’s comeback.

The UFC boss thinks it’s more likely McGregor will return in 2024.

Until then, he’ll be sure to keep fans entertained with his social media antics.
